On December 12, 2013, CEO of BFW Bau Sachsen, Mr. he U.Strehle and CEO MSR Bau construction group (Germany), Mr. U.Brandt paid a working visit to CUWC on the implementation of the model house. They were welcomed by Mr. Bui Hong Hue, Rector; Mr. Trinh Van Dung, Party Secretary and Vice Rector; Mr. Dao Viet Ha, Director of Vietnam-Germany Training Centre and other members.

Mr. Hue overviewed of CUWC as well as the development direction of CUWC in the future. He highly appreciated the international cooperation in training quality.  German counterparts thanked CUWC for their implementation of projects in Vietnam. The German partners had an overview of the newest and most modern energy saving system manufactured by Bau MSR GmbH construction firm. This energy system is expected to be installed in the environment friendly model house. It is a system using natural energy as solar energy, wind energy, air energy, geothermal energy ... ) to create electricity for the operation of the model house.

    The two sides exchanged views on the mode of cooperation, the requirements and responsibilities of each party in the memorandum of understanding on technology transfer, document delivery, trainers and students training about energy saving technology in the model house. At the end of the day, the two sides agreed to an overall plan to implement the signed MOU.
    During the visit at CUWC, German partners also visited the facilities and the area of the model house. German partners appreciated the facilities for training available at CUWC and expressed interest in technology transfer to CUWC whose teachers and students had access to the new technology.
