In the afternoon of September 5, 2013, Mr. Kazunari DOI, Director of YWWB, Team leader of Yokohama Waterworks Bureau (YWWB) had a working visit to Training center for water sector in the central region (T.C). He was accompanied by Mr. SASAYAMA Hiroshi, Former Chief Advisor of the project on Capacity Development for urban water supply utilities in the central region of Vietnam; Mr. Tatsuya WAGATSUMA, technology development expert; Mr. Hiroyuky YAMAGUCHI and Mr. TANAKA Takeo from the International Coordinating Committee, Yokohama Waterworks Bureau.
On behalf of CUWC and T.C, Mr. Hoang Quoc Liem, Director of T.C welcomed and worked with Japanese experts.
At the meeting, Mr. Hoang Quoc Liem presented some advantages, difficulties and development orientation of T.C in the next years. He also discussed and suggested Yokohama Waterworks Bureau to their continuous support for T.C in human resource training as well as training materials and equipment.
Representative of Japanese experts team, Mr. Kazunari DOI thanked CUWC Party and T.C for a warm welcome. He and other experts will discuss and find out the way to cooperate continuously with T.C in the next years.
Mr. Kazunari DOI and the other experts also visited the workshops of the Training Center.
The two sides gave souvenirs to each other and took memorial pictures at the end of the meeting.
