CUWC’s Vice Principal greeted
Investment Director
of Association for Investment and Development of
Germany
On October 16, 2011, MA. Bui Hong Hue – Vice Principal of the College of Urban Works Construction (CUWC) greeted Mr. Volker Schwab, Investment Director on special programmes of Development Assitance Bank of Association for German Investment and Development (DEG - Deutsche Investitions- und Entwichklungsgesellschaft mbH), Attending the meeting, including Ms Almut Roeness - Chief Representative of XELLA Building Material Group (Federal Republic of Germany) in Ha Noi, Ms Hoang Thi Thuy, Mr Tran Manh Cuong, Director of Project Development of Xella Viet Nam; Mr Pham Quang Hien, BFW’s Representative in Ha Noi. Toward CUWC, consisting of MA. Dao Viet Ha - Head of Research and International Cooperation Dept.
In the meeting, MA. Bui Hong Hue welcomed Mr. Volker Schwwab for his first CUWC visit. And thanked Xella for organizing a CUWC 10 teacher - course in Germany on September, 2011. He also gave an overall introduction on College’s activities such as teachers, facilities, the number of learning students, scientific research, international relation, labor exportation and so on. In addition, he affirmed that CUWC was willing to cooperate with external partners, and there are a lot of experciences to develop CUWC’s tradename.
Mr. Volker Schwwab thanked him for spending much time on greeting and exchanging mutual cooperations in the coming time. He ensured that although the visit was relatively short, it was very meaningful. He visit CUWC directly where it was ready for XELLA to invest and construct a “model house” with Materials of Pressure Gas Concrete (AAC). Through, he suggested the DEG and XELLA to officially implement the project as soon as the MOU between CUWC and XELLA was signed.
Ms Almut Roeness - Chief Representative of XELLA Viet Nam had a meeting to directly exchange about the MOU and, to agree the time that was intention of signing at the end of October, 2011.
