German partners visit and work on Germany-Vietnamese construction vocation training center at CUWC
On March 11, 2011, at College of Urban Works Construction (CUWC), its leaders had a meeting on training cooperation capacity between CUWC and Federal Republic of Germany’s vocational training centres via GENEV in Viet Nam.
Attending the meeting, toward the college, including Dr. Nguyen Ba Thang, Secretary of Party, Principal; MA. Bui Hong Hue, Vice principal; Mr Tran Van Thien, Vice principal; MA. Trinh Van Dung Vice principal; MA. Dao Viet Ha, Head of Research and International Cooperation Department; MA. Nguyen Hong Minh, Head of Training Department; MA. Tran Khac Liem, Dean of Vocational Training; MA. Tran Tuan Long, Dean of Construction; Mr Nguyen Van Khai, Head of Administrative Department; Faculty of Construction and Vocational Training’s teachers. Toward partner, consisting of the GENEV’s representatives at Ha Noi, Leaders of Glauchau, Sachsen Vocational Training (BFW) - Federal Republic of Germany: Mr Bertram Lenk and Mr Michael Petzsche, Ms Almut Roeness, Representatives of XELLA Building Material Group (Federal Republic of Germany) in Viet Nam.
The meeting took place frankly, effusively, and effetively. It is important for both sides to agree the content and cooperation project implementation plans. With the attendance of XELLA Group, partners have agreed to build a Germany-Vietnamese Construction Vocation Training at CUWC according to German standard, concretely:
- To build a model with complete concrete materials which is invested by XELLA
- To build and translate training materials according to German standard to serve training at the centre in the future with the attendance of CUWC, BFW and XELLA.
- To foster and train CUWC’s 15 teachers (named “TTT course”) for the centre in the future at training institutions in Federal Republic of Germany which is taken over by CUWC – BFW and other German institutions. The course is expected to start on August, 2011.
