CUWC’S PRINCIPAL GREETS AND WORKS WITH JICA (JAPAN)

On August 16, 2011, Dr. Nguyen Ba Thang – Principal of the College of Urban Works Construction (CUWC) greeted and worked with the JICA delegation about the project assessment of Training Center for Water Sector in the Central Region of Vietnam which has been being implemented between Vietnamese Government and Japanese Government at Thua Thien Hue Branch of CUWC.

Attending the Pricipal’s meeting, toward CUWC, including MA. Bui Hong Hue – Vice Principal; MA. Dao Viet Ha - Head of Research and International Cooperation Dept; MA. Nguyen Thi Hong Minh – Head of Training Dept; Mr. Pham Van Hung – Deputy Head of Finance and Accouting Dept.

Toward JICA (Japan), including Mr. Wakabayashi Tomonori – Head of Water Management; Ms. Namura Ayako - consultant in human resource development; JICA representative in Ha Noi.

In the meeting, the parties have notified each other about specific situation, the project implementation of Training Center for Water Sector in the Central Region of Vietnam, target,  the organization, the achievements, the issue of finance and planning, the done contents  in next time. They have together solved the confusion and arising problem during the project implementation process. In addition, they also have agreed the way of  resolution and the method of affair coordination in the coming time, aiming to build Training Center for Water Sector in the Central Region of Vietnam that is both effective and symbolic in cooperation partnerships, especially institutions for sustainable development after ending the project in 2013.
