THE COLLEGE’S LEADERS WORKED WITH JICA (JAPAN) ABOUT
PROJECT PROGRESS OF TRAINING CENTREFOR WATER SECTOR IN THE CENTRAL REGION OF VIETNAM
On May 10, 2011, at College of Urban Works Construction (CUWC), the college’s leaders and JICA’s representatives had a meeting on the progress of project implementationfor Training Centre for Water Sector in the Central Region of Viet Nam.
Attending the meeting, toward the college, including Dr. Nguyen Ba Thang, Secretary of Party, Principal; MA. Bui Hong Hue, Vice principal; MA. Trinh Van Dung, Vice principal; MA. Dao Viet Ha, Head of Research and International Cooperation Department; MA. Nguyen Thi Hong Minh; Engineer Vu Minh Giang; Vice Director of Training Centre for Water Sector. Toward partner, There are participants such as Mr Komatsu, Mr Asaoka, Mr Rikimoto and Mr Fukukawa who are the cadres of project.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Ba Thang has shared difficulties that Japanese suffered during the earthquake, tsunami in March, 2011. Besides, he also expressed his admiration for the spirit of Japanese overcoming difficulties. Both sides have continued affirming the project’s common target, that is the construction of Training Centre for Water Sector in the Central Region of Viet Nam which have enough the best conditions to train human resources for central water companies, to ensure the quality and reputation for growth after ending a three year - project. At the meeting, the two sides reviewed the progress of project implementation, jointly discussed and solved problems during one last year of the project implementation. The preparation of specific plans in the coming time as well as the way of sharing information during the project implementation were exchanged and agreed by the two sides.
